Champions take initiative to organize events, discussions, or initiatives that benefit the community. They are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing positive changes.
Champions have a good understanding of the subject matter and are willing to share their knowledge. They stay informed about relevant developments and trends.
A positive and optimistic attitude is contagious. Champions uplift others, even in challenging situations, and help maintain a constructive atmosphere.
Building a community is a collaborative effort. Champions actively collaborate with other community members, organizers, and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
Champions advocate for the community, both within and outside it. They help raise awareness, attract new members, and showcase the community’s achievements.
Champions are selected annually based on nominations. Anyone in the ecosystem can make a nomination or nominate themselves during the nomination period. For 2025, The nomination will take place between Sep 16 – Oct 16.
From Sep 16 – Oct 16, community members can make a nomination or
nominate themselves.
PingCAP’s selected members who are active in the community around
the globe help with a final review of nominations.
The winners will be announced during a virtual celebration meeting
on or around November 4.
