Effective Date: November 17, 2023
These Special Terms for Online Training Courses shall apply to PingCAP’s paid online training courses in addition to PingCAP’s Terms of Service. You need to agree to all of these terms before applying for registration for the online training courses.
Services
PingCAP offers certain online training courses. PingCAP reserves the right to amend or withdraw any of the courses at its discretion at any time. PingCAP also reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the online course by giving you notice in writing (including by email) at any time before the course start date, subject to the refund clauses below, as applicable.
Registration and Payment
You need to complete registration for an online course on PingCAP’s website seven (7) days prior to the course start time. The fee for the training course (the “Fee”) must be paid in full at the time of registration, and your registration will not be complete until PingCAP has received such full payment of the Fee. Courses will be billed in US Dollars (USD). We only accept payments via credit cards.
Your application for the registration may not be accepted if the registration slots for the course are full, PingCAP is not legally allowed to provide paid online training courses to you, or there are any other reasons for which PingCAP cannot accept your application.
You are responsible for non-payment, even if the Fee is being paid by a third party. After successful registration, you will receive an email from PingCAP acknowledging your enrollment in the online course.
Cancellations and Refunds
1. Your cancellation
You may cancel your registration up to five (5) days prior to the course start date. You shall not be eligible for any refund after the cancellation deadline.
2. PingCAP’s cancellation
PingCAP will refund all fees paid by you for the course cancelled by PingCAP. PingCAP’s liability when it cancels an online course will be limited to a refund of the Fee. If PingCAP partially cancels an online course, such refunds will be made on a proportionate basis, based on the number of the classes held.
