Overview
Mercari, one of the largest free-market apps in Japan, consists of more than 50 MySQL servers running in an on-premise data center with a data size of over 40 TB and high throughput. Since the company decided to migrate such huge MySQL servers to TiDB Cloud, it had to engage in a large-scale PoC.
