Introduction：

Recently, we announced the general availability of TiDB Cloud. TiDB is a cloud native, distributed SQL database built for real-time analytics. TiDB Cloud is a fully-managed service for TiDB.  Users can deploy, expand, and manage TiDB clusters with a few clicks on the TiDB Cloud web console. At the same time, TiDB will be responsible for managing daily operation, high availability, cluster upgrades, and disaster recovery. TiDB Cloud supports multiple cloud vendors. You can currently use TiDB Cloud on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Soon, we will support Azure as well. 

In this meetup, Yunqing Zhou will introduce TiDB Cloud and then discuss the evolution of its architecture. He will also summarize the lessons his team learned from building a multi-cloud managed Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS). Finally, he will describe the TiDB Cloud product roadmap.

By attending this meetup, you can have a better understanding of the past, present and future of TiDB, as well as the design philosophy behind it. You will also have a clearer picture of what the future database looks like, and how your organization can fully utilize the new architecture and features.
