Overview:

Developing applications with Large Language Models (LLMs) requires advanced technologies such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Vector Search, and other AI innovations. TiDB simplifies this process by integrating Vector Search into a unified, SQL-compatible database solution.

Join us for an insightful event where we will explore TiDB’s Vector Search capabilities and delve into other AI models.

We will also introduce you to the TiDB Future App Hackathon, organized by PingCAP. This global virtual event invites developers to create innovative applications using TiDB’s serverless database technology, offering a chance to win prizes worth $30k.

Why You Should Attend This Event:

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of TiDB’s Vector Search and its applications.
  • Learn about AI technologies and their integration with LLMs.
  • Discover how to participate in the TiDB Future App Hackathon and compete for exciting prizes.
  • Network with industry experts and fellow AI enthusiasts.
  • Take part in Hackathon and win prizes

Speaker:

Susana Guzman, Jina AI

I’m a Mexican who has been living in Europe for the past decade. My background is in computer science, initially focusing on C++ and computer graphics. Eventually, my interests shifted towards AI, leading me to specialize in Python. This change brought me to Jina AI as a Software Developer. Over time, I transitioned into a Product Manager role, where I continue to work today. My focus now is entirely on text embedding models and multimodal models.

Daniël van Eeden, Solution Engineer at PingCAP

Daniël van Eeden works for PingCAP as a technical support engineer for TiDB. Before joining TiDB he worked as a DBA for a large website maintaining a large fleet of MySQL servers.
