The meetup series “The Future of Modern Distributed SQL Databases” is back again! This meetup will focus on the evolution of TiKV.
TiKV is an open-source, distributed, and transactional key-value database. It provides classic key-value APIs and also transactional APIs with ACID compliance. It is now the storage engine for TiDB.
TiKV has been evolving since its development. From Single Store to Threaded Store, from RocksDB to Raft Engine, TiKV is playing an important role in more and more scenarios. However, we also see some flaws in TiKV, and its evolution is heading in some new directions. This talk will discuss TiKV’s past, present, and future.
